I am severely deaf and struggling to find a job. What careers are there without telephone work?
I been out of work for two years now. I worked in a school as an Teaching Assitant but struggled in the classroom. I lip read and am fine one to one. I have done a BSL level 1 however, most jobs want BSL level 2. Can any hearing impaired deaf people answer and let me know what careers they do and how do they over come their problems of communicating.
I can't find a job and i'm seriously about to give up.?
I'm 18 years old and i just graduated high school in May. I quit my last job at dairy queen because i wasn't getting any hours. I was working 1 day a pay period 2 weeks . i knew it was just going to be a waste of time to keep working there. I had applied to a couple places months before I quit and a whole bunch after i graduated. All summer I've been looking for work. After i counted, I've applied to 40 different places and still nothing. I seriously don't know what to do. Carbondale, IL is not a big area and where i live in Murphysboro is smaller than that. I have no income whatsoever. the only thing i can do is pinch off my graduation money like i've been doing all summer. I'm seriously about to give up. i mean i know the economy's bad, but this is fucking ridiculous. Can anybody give me some suggestions?
What to do to find a job at 39 yrs of age and long gap in work history!?
I'm 39 and decided to raise children for the past 10 yrs. Not to mention the entire southern part of our state was economically depressed. Now, we have moved into a better job market, I'm one semester away from a BS degree in I.S. and don't know what to do next. I've thought about volunteering or even trying to go through an employment agency for temp work. Do I have a shot at getting paid to work or should I try going the volunteer route?

Why is it so hard to find a job in what you want these days?
well ive got my health and social nvqand my childcare level 2nvq, and i really enjoy walking with childreni want to work in a play group like barneys or rainbows uk well i finished college for my level 2 and couldn't get an apprenticeship at allso couldn't go back for my level 3 as it would take 2 years in collegeif i didn't do the apprenticeshipim nearly 19 and i don't get college EMA and couldn't get a part time job because its so much work,well ive got a part time cleaning job, which helps me alotand i like working with the people there, and the moneyis just the amount i need to help me going as i live with my mombut im not being stuck in that for ages, its just for now to help me getby, i want to be able to work in a private nursery or a play groupwhat can i do? ive handed out loads of apprenticeships noticesbut no one got back to me so im handing out C.VS but no onegetting back to me as if there is a job 50 people go for it..

I'm 17 & I can't find a job anywhere. I got my GED and have no work experience. I applied at 30 places and none of them called back. I even reapplied and it's making me so mad. My mom is kicking me out when I'm 18 so Im desperate for money. I have been selling my body for clothes becuz I'm so needy. I see clothes at the mall that I want and I hate girls who have nice things. It sucks and I feel like I'm wasting my time applying help how can i find a job? And I really want to buy these dresses Should I steal?

Im so frustrated i cant find a job ?im SO Damn frusturated. i 22 years old i have been woking for this grocery business for 5 years and im only making 8.00 hr. i cant find another job. im trying to get on with a local fire dept but they have a hiring freeze on right now. how am i suppose to live?my next pay increase is at 8.25 hr what a joke 25 cents an hour more.I was hired on at 5.15 an hour now since the minimum wage has went up to 7.25 hr. these new hires that are 16 years old are only making only 75 cents an hr. less than i ami work for kroger in the meat dept but im thinking of applying at publix. they should pay me $11 but i dont know if they will hire me on full time.how cxan i make sure that i get on there full time?

On unemployment for months now and giving blood plasma twice a week I have been cut off of the plasma donation because my blood pressure has gone high 155 105, now I won't be able to pay my bills what are some of my options? And I sure can't afford to go to doctor.

im moving out this saturday and i need to get a job. i'v been applying at places everyday and im trying really hard to find a job. everybody seems to be getting a job but me. i have no idea what im doing wrong. i have a really nice and professional resume that i give to every place i apply at also. are there any tips you'd like to give me so i can find a job? ill even go for part time right now. im so desperate thanks
