Question: I can't find a job, i'm almost 18!?

So I am 18 next month. I did 1 year at college, studying IT. Then I did an internship kind of job as an IT technician where I got very little money. And now I have not had a job for 2 months. It is so depressing. I look on the job sites everyday and have applied for countless jobs. Nobody gets back to me. There is no basic jobs like a sales assistant. I'm so depressed, I am 18 next month and not looking forward to it. I looked at apprenticeships but they are all for business administration which I'm not intrested in doing. I can't believe it's 2012 and people are having to go without a basic job. How am I going to start a family when nobody can have a job nowadays? I dont want to waste £30, 000 on uni fees. I wont even be able to have children because I have no money. The world is a joke. 2012 and there is still poverty. Ridiculous. I'm almost 18. I am so lost and I don't know what to do. I refuse to go on benefits. :(

Hey man its ok most people dont find careers until 10 years after highschool <3 just keep living to be happy, learn and make money!

Relax. i graduated from college in april 2011 and cant find a job, i am turning 25 soon.

Keep trying to find a job and you will eventually be successful. 2 month of job search is not enough in today's business climate. You might try a temporary employment agency to find a job, many companies hire their employees through them. Good Luck
