How come i can't find a job?

Question: How come i can't find a job?

(Posted by: Bee on 2012-01-23 10:31:55)

I have a Bachelors Degree in forensic psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice(cuny). But I have nothing but retail sales experience. I'm trying to branch out but I can't find a job if my life depended on it. What am I doing wrong? I don't want to lie on my resume.

How are you contacting the companies? Via email? If so, try to visit the company branch or even call the HR department.. That worked for me. Also, since you don't have experience in your field, you can always tell them that they can sign you up for an internship. Gluck!

You need Jesus Christ in your life.

You'll have to tell us exactly what you are doing and what the results are to get any really helpful answers. For example, if you tell us you've submitted 50 resumes and gotten no interviews, the answer is VERY different than if you submitted 50 resumes, and got 30 interviews and no job offers. More info please!
