17 and i cant find a job. help?

Question: 17 and i cant find a job. help?

(Posted by: on 2012-01-25 12:46:58)

I've applied every where there is, and I haven't even gotten a call back. I stay in Durham, North Carolina and there are tons of places that claim they are hiring but never do. I get a check every month until I'm 18 soo I really don't care if i find a job or not but I want a Job because I need something to do in spare time. can anybody help me on how to get a job?

Apply for as many jobs as you can around your local area. Start applying for jobs you are interested at working, and some that you dont care much for, but wouldnt give you a hard time. Any money for a teenager is good money, and although were you're work, you will get tired of working, but it will be a opening of independence, because you dont have to worry about bothering your parnets all the time for money. But apply for a looot of jobs, and for the hours on the application, put more hours than you know you would work, just to have a better chance of getting hired ( they wont make you work that many hours anyway ), they're looking for people who will be there when they can and fiil in when they can. Hope i helped
