Can't find a job. What am i suppose to do now.?
I have been out of work really since feb of 2011. I had one temp job a few months later but the assignment didn't last long and i was let go. I have been trying to put in applications and either i don't get a call back, or i think i at least have an interview but i call them back to confirm and they aren't there or they hired someone else. I have been extremely discouraged about finding a job. I am 25 years old and i have never had enough money to move out and i dont' know what else to do. I thought about going to college but i owe money to one community college and since i have no job i can't pay it back so it's either go to college in another county which i have applied to and they actually have dorms but im worried because i will be the oldest one living in them or go to a for profit school and get a trade like medical or dental assisting that is 9 months. The course cost 15,000 dollars but i know i can get a school loan for it and at least i will be employable and can pay my loans off. So what should i do?
Im 21 with a High School Diploma and i cant find a job ;(?
I grew up in London and now live in LA i am a U.S citizen. I have been looking for a job for months with no luck. I think i am becoming depressed and i dont know what else to do. I apply for tons of jobs, I email my resume and cover letter and never get any responses back.I have thought about going to college but i dont know what id study and dont want to get into any more debt as i owe money to my sister who pays my rent for me.Any advise would be appreciated.I have worked before mostly the jobs have been temps or summer jobs. I do have experience and some skills.Thats not the advise i am looking for thanks, but I cant drive i dont have a license.
I have a criminal conviction. Can I find a job in the Information Technology field?
I have a burglary charge from 1993. I also have 3 Drunk Driving, the third one makes it a felony , the last one was in 2006. I just received my A.A. in Information Technology. I have been turned down from 8 job opportunities and I am getting frustrated. Most of the opportunities were good prospects until they asked " the question" . I have been honest with them and told them the truth. Here are my questions 1. Has anyone had this problem and overcame it?2. How do I keep moving forward if employers keep looking backward?3. Any advice?I am not trying to complain, nor give excuses for what I have done. Thank you in advance.
Where can I find a job in testing websites/other internet-related jobs?
Hi, my name is Patrick. I am a 15 year old high school student who is seeking employment. Because of my age, many stores and regular jobs will not hire me. I live in a community in New York City where none of my neighbors will pay me to do anything for them. I have a huge disadvantage because of my age. I decided I the way to go is to find an internet related job. I would imagine that companies would very much want a teenager to work for them, as their target audience for their product is mostly people my age. I consider myself to be very good with technology. At least better than most other kids around. Where can I find internet employment?
I still.. am unable to find a job full time. I need full time. I tried for both full and part time. See Below.?
I need full time employment to be able to pay the rent. Part time won't cut it. My area is super bad for jobs. My state is doing the worse they said of them all. I am wanting to move out of my apartment because there are major health factors here and there is good reasons to do so. Not just because I feel like moving. The town has pollutions up the block that can cause cancer as well with a chemical they omit... into the air. However.. I need someone to help me plan to organize this. I am beyond stressed out over all this. I am open to do many jobs. House Cleaning.. Office Cleaning..Child Care, I even went on an interview for home care that said they were hiring full time with benefits then when I get there they acted like they never sent me a packet of information about the benefits they said they offered. It was mis leading. They also could not like most home care gaurantee hours. I am going to apply on line to Coscos too. But these jobs are over an hour and a half where I want to move. I need a job before I move to the area as most say I do. I can get past the commute and look for a place if the job works out. But.. that can take 3 months of commuting 4 hours or so a day. What should I do about this horrible situation I am in. The lease here comes up for renewal very soon this month. He has not sent it yet. But.. I will have to send it back soon after he does. Please... Please Help. Thanks...The worse part and this is a catch 22 so to speak.. I want to move 1 2 hours away. and the place I live is not providing a health environment. I don't think I will make the lease signing date which means that I will have to give him my deposit as a rental fee to rent my place off the lease time. That is okay with me.. because of the health issues where I live imposes. The bad thing is the jobs are where I like to move.. there are several areas I am open to move to. I just don't think the commuting time each way over many months is realistic with gas prices and how much I would spend .. not to mention wear and tear on the car and engine. I think .. I may have to find a closer area near me to live. Then work around that since its a better drive in my areas.. even if its within the hour then over an hour each way. I have no choice. I may even have to stay in the place I live in and breath this caustic chemical and mold in until I can land a job and save to move out.
Asking for help to find a job?
Hello, my name is Tatiana. We moved to Dallas with my husband 7 month ago. Since that time things turn very bad for us, from having a little bit of money saved we came to the point when we are not even able to pay our bills. We used to live in Virginia, where my husband was in a Navy after he got out we came here to please where he was born. He got some job, it's a windows cleaning it wasn't so good but seemed like for some time it would be alright, and in a little bit he will find some better job. At that time I got pregnant and we were so happy and weren t scared at all because we didn t know how things will turn for us. He was looking for jobs but unfortunately his attempts weren t successful. So he still does windows cleaning but for few months he didn't even make enough money to pay the bills because it s not a season for this. Now he's studying, he goes to University of Texas at Dallas, so it's got harder to find a job good job which he could combine with study. If you can help us to find some good job, what will let him at least to have days off at Tuesday and Thursday instead of weekends, please help because we barely survive.I want to work so much too but unfortunately I don't have my work authorization yet, because I m not from over here and the process of getting it takes too long. If anybody knows, if there is some chance for me to work legally without it please help us.And if anybody have some stuff for the baby you don't need no more, and you can give it away, we will be more than happy to take some, because the baby will need a lot, but we can't provide it.So if anybody can help us any way, please help, because it's really hard times for us. We will appreciate any help. And we really both willing to work, believe me I m crying seeing my husband sleeping only few hours a day and doesn't even make enough money to pay the bills, I m not even saying about food.If you can help, please send me an email moroz tatiana yahoo.com
Help me find a job fit for a teenager?
My father keeps telling me to get a job, and you know, i'm tired of it. I want one, it's just that i'm like....diagnosed with depression and PTSD from severe bullying and abuse. I kind of have a fear of messing up, and people... I have many talents, and my biggest talent is photography, and photo editing. I've heard of lots of websites that give out money for best photo, or whatever. I'm looking for online jobs, if that's possible? I'm looking for ideas.

What are some ways to find a job?
I'm having trouble finding a job?
I just got an email from a place that I applied to, saying that they won't be hiring me. I had an interview with them on Saturday and I was the PERFECT candidate. I wanted this job so badly and it worked perfectly for me. I'm so upset. I have applied in so many places and this is the only one who has bothered to call me for an interview. I have 3 years experience working in a place similar to the company I applied to, and the interview went great. I don't know what could've happened. Now I don't know what to do. I feel like I will never find a job, and my parents are putting so much pressure on me to be employed even though I'm a full time student in uni. I can't keep taking time off from studying to go out and apply to places. It takes too much time out of my day and it's exhausting. I really need a job right now, and I'm not picky. The only places I won't work at are fast food. What do I do? Keep applying? I am so doubtful right now. I never get calls for interviews, and this was the one time where I really thought I'd get the job.
Finding a job without a network?
I'm out of school now for only 9 months, and I was lucky to find a job only a month after graduation. However, that company has recently laid off all it's junior staff in my area, so I'm out the door soon. A few of the senior staff are going too. Here is my problem during the time I was with them I was in training, and the few people I'd consider to be in my network are either still with the company or taking jobs elsewhere that require certifications. I have written recommendations from my boss and his boss, but everyone they know who is hiring wants more experience than what I have. I tried reaching back to school and talking with some professors but they they honestly don't seem to remember me, and at this point I'd just be annoying them.So I have no one in my network that can help but I have recommendations, and I don't have enough experience for some employers but I am no longer an inexperienced hire so I'm haven't seen a response from anyone offering internships or true entry level jobs that do not require experience. And what is with listing a job as " entry level" but wanting 3 years experience in that same field anyway?I guess what I'm asking is what should I do? I've heard " network" but honestly I'm on no one's party list and again, those in my network don't have anything to offer by their own admission.Should add some detail, I have an Accounting degree and have near 8 months experience in consumer lending. I'd rather get out of consumer lending, I worked on a few commercial deals previously but it wasn't my day to day, still I'd rather be on that side of the coin.
Help with finding a job?
Hello,I just graduated a couple of weeks ago and received my Bachelors in Accounting. I am currently looking for work but I am having a great deal of difficulty. I have put over six hundred online applications in but I have received no responses. I do not think this works since so many people are unemployed. Where I live is a small decrepit town in southern California and there is literally no work. You can even get a job at Taco Bell. Unemployment here is over 17 %. I am willing to relocate anywhere to find work in this field. If someone could give me some new ideas of finding work, especially from a distant location, that would be great. Also would it be worth creating a portfolio of my accomplishments to send to employers? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much.
