Hi guys I'm 15 years old and I'll be turning 16 in May. My mom has been having trouble paying the bills and my dad is doing what he can to support us but it's hard on my mom, who basically raises us herself. I find myself constantly asking her for money I don't get an allowance and I feel really bad. I want to try to find a job that will last me through the summer to help out. I live in New Jersey. Been in Cleveland, OH a couple of weeks now and i am sick and tired of sitting on the couch. How hard is it to find a job at 15?
Alright so I just moved into this really small town and I was wondering if anyone had experience on how to find a job at 15, and what qualities they look for to hire someone. I know they look at grades, and past history and all that fun stuff. I'm just wondering because pretty soon I'm getting my permeant and I have to pay for a car and insurance, and probably my phone bill pretty soon. And I know with todays economy it's extremely hard. But for anyone who owns a business what do you look for while hiring? Or if you 15 to 16 and had experience what did they look for? Thanks for the help
I can't find a job, what can i do about this?
Ive applied for over 25 jobs and only got 2 call backs, went to interviews for those and didnt get either of them. I really dont know what to do, i want a job but no on wants to give me a fair go. I work for a department store and have worked there for 5 years. The jobs ive been applying for are in administration and even in a junior position they want a mn of 2 yrs experience and at least a certificate. Im thinking of studying some kind of business course at uni but then how do i get experience in an office if no one will employ me??

Without given out my complete resume, I am a 15yr combat veteran with an active TS clearance and have worked in the Special Operations community Psychological Operations for 7yrs. Where are some sites that I can access to look for a job outside of the military? Just weighing my options. Thank you.
Does anyone find it difficult to find a job in this recession?
It seems as if jobs are becoming way difficult to land. Has anyone been able to find a job as easy as before? I've been everywhere I've even had the opportunity to get an interview and ace it. After being told right then and there that I got hired, I had to fill out tons of paperwork. I was suppose to get a call back within a week to go in for finger prints and start working. I never got a phone call... I've tried contacting the company and they just seem so irresponsible and unprofessional. What's going on in this world? I understand if one interviews you and tells you they'll call you if anything. But to tell someone they're hired and to actually waste their time. That's just plain wrong Has this ever happened to anyone???

I am 18 with no job experience, except babysitting. I am finding it extremely hard to make myself sound desirable. Does anybody know any tricks that could help me get a job quick? Btw, just looking for a stupid job, like at a fast food restaurant, or waitressing, or anything, really.

Well i need to get a job. Im only 16 years old. I dont know where to start looking. I dont really want to work at a fast food place but if thats my ONLY option i guess i will have to. Any help?
