Can't find a job in Dallas, TX?
My fiance was in the military got in right after high school and got out with a general under honorable conditions. This was about 4 years ago. During that time he worked for a few months. But then was laid off. He then got another job but then got sick and they made him leave then as well. He is now in school. But the problem is that he is unable to get a job. Even Wal Mart claims they are not hiring. What kind of options are available to someone who has been out of work for almost a year?

How can I find a job that will incorporate the skills that I currently possess?
I have PR Marketing skills in TV and Radio broadcasting. Right now I am working for a think tank whose aim is to influence government policy makers when it comes to the culture of work. I enjoy ed those jobs but in both I need a good grasp on politics which I find a bit of a struggle. Don't get me wrong, politics is very important and we should all be across it but I find it quite boring This tells me I'm probably in the wrong job. My real interests lie in Arts, Drama, Music, Theatre, Dance I've written a radio play and I did amateur dramatics when I was younger or Charity work helping children or people living below the poverty line connected to politics I know . I want a job that is more hands on rather than in an office but I also want to keep using my PR Marketing skills. I also enjoy travelling and arranging things like trips and events, I also like using PhooShop to design things like cards, a presentation etc.Does this all sound schizophrenic, can anyone out there help me?

Why can't I find a job? I'm a new graduate with an applied math degree...?
I attended a top school and I have an alright GPA, 3.35. I can't even get an interview. .... I can program with quite a few languages and even web develop. Yet not even a glimmer of hope has come my way. Anyone else in this situation?

Is it really difficult for a dental hygienist to find a job nowadays?

Where can I find a job?

How can I get motivated to find a job?
I'm laid off. I've been laid off four times in the past five years from the same job. I went to school after the third time, graduated, went back to work, got laid off again, and I'm tired of it. My motivation to look for work is gone. I've applied for so many jobs, dont get responses and it seems like no one is ever going to hire me. What can I do to stay motivated and keep trying?

What are the chances of finding a job in Canada if you have just graduated from a Canadian university?
I'm referring to the post graduate work permit program outlined on the CIC website. According to their regulations, it's possible to apply for a post graduate work permit if you've completed at least 8 months of full time education at a Canadian university but of course a work permit doesn't guarantee employment. So what are the chances of finding a job in the skill type 0, A or B category for the purpose of permanent residence? Will it depend on prior work experience, what you studied, what uni you went to or any other factors? Will Canadian employers be more willing to hire a foreign worker if he she has recently graduated from a Canadian university with a master degree?

I was laid off exactly 1 year ago today & I still have not found a job in Atlanta, should I relocate?
I been searching and searching. I have applied to almost 200 jobs and only had two interviews. For each job I apply for, I tweak my cover letter and resume and tailor it to the position. I am not saying that it might be different elsewhere, I know the economy is bad nationwide. I don't have anything keeping me in Atlanta, no house to sell, no partner, no kids, no pets. Should I relocate to another city for a job?

I need help with finding a job!?
I have lots of experience in customer service via retail and restaurant experience and some office experience. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Management minor. I am smart, hard working, easily trainable, and dedicated. I am looking to gain more experience and am having a super hard time getting my foot in the door anywhere. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I am located in the Birmingham, AL area. Thanks

I have been having a tough time finding a job. Would it be better to go with a staffing agency?
I have an MBA and have been trying to find a job by applying online but so far no luck. Do you think it would be better to try a staffing agency to help find a job?
