Question: Desperate!! need lawyer to go to unemployment appeal referee this frida 12th am collecting employeer appealing?

First off it is not a court, it is a mediation or arbitration a lawyer would not help, secondly you don't realize how much the retainer costs for an attorney, they are not free

No you don't really need a lawyer. I appeal as the employer about 3 or 4 times a month and I have yet to see a claimant with a lawyer do any better than one without a lawyer. 9 times out of 10 the lawyer will do something that upsets the hearing officer.

Do google search of city/ state where you live for lawyers. Call lawyers offices to see if you can get in by tomorrow for appointment. Ask fee for the lawyer and bring your checkbook with you, since you will need a retainer for the lawyer to take and represent you, since lawyers do not work for free. good luck
